Why is Daddy bothering me?!!?!?

December 10th, 2008 by Donnie

Tonight, Daddy kept putting my feet on the ground and holding onto one hand of mine and walked me around the house several times. He was doing it with such urgency tonight. I can’t figure out why.

At one point I finally gave in to him and let go of his hand and took 3 steps forward and then fell on my rump. He got all excited and was yelling for Mommy to come watch. I took a couple of steps with Mommy watching but it was merely just to keep them anxious.

Then Daddy decided to get my “Indiana Jones rope” and let me hold onto one end of it as he stood behind me. It made me feel safe so I took 4 and then 5 steps while holding onto the rope. Daddy was so proud. All I know is that I felt safe holding on to the rope and that is why I was walking.

Then came the semi-big walk…Daddy let go of the rope and I held on to it with both hands and took 5 steps all by myself and then fell down. Daddy was so proud and was screaming for Mommy again.

I don’t know what the big deal is…I’ll walk when I want to.

Well, I am worn out now and need to head to bed…

good night and I love you guys!

Connor does not like broccoli…

December 4th, 2008 by Donnie

Mommy made Connor some broccoli the other night and tried to feed it to him.  After a couple of spoonfuls, he decided he didn’t like it and promptly regurgitated it.  So we swapped it out for some turkey and carrots and he did fine.

So, no broccoli for the foreseeable future.
