Where has the time gone?!?!? 2 years and now our baby is not…wait a minute. Connor, you will always be our baby.
Back to what I was saying…
Our baby is not a baby any longer.
We had Connor’s birthday party on Saturday and he was so thrilled to have EVERYONE over. I’ve never seen him so happy. First Grandma showed up, then Mimi and Papa, then Uncle Danny… He was so excited to see everyone. Then the kids started showing up. Brenna, Gavin, Issac and Abby, John and Daniel… At one point when Issac and Abby showed up, Connor ran to the door and slammed both hands on the glass and started dancing. He was SO HAPPY!!!!

Connor had a “Dora and Diego” theme birthday. We picked up a cake from Farm Fresh which was decorated GREAT and tasted great too! Connor got a Dora and Diego DVD from Grandma and he was digitally put into the video. That is pretty cool and when I get a chance, I will post a short clip of it.

The hit of the party was…well just wait a second…let me tell a story…
Mommy and Daddy bought Connor a 12″ bike with training wheels that has Diego on it. We thought for sure this was going to be his best present. We bought this two months ago and debated on whether to give it to him for Christmas or for his birthday. We decided on giving it to him for his birthday. Slam dunk, home run, the best gift he can get for his birthday…right????? WRONG!!!!
Uncle Danny hijacked the party and all of the kids attention (including Grandma’s) when Connor opened his present. He got him a Thomas the Train that is 5 feet long and 3.5 feet tall. It is kind of like a collapsible tent.

Soon after opening, Connor comes to me and says, “Daddy, open.” So, I opened it and the FUN began!
At one point, Brenna, Abby, and Issac were inside the train and Connor was running around it peering into the windows. He was pounding his little feet on the ground in excitement!
I had to walk over to Uncle Danny (my head hanging low) and said, “You hit a home run with that one.” So, here’s to you Uncle Danny!
Heck, at one point Grandma even got inside of Thomas the Train!
THANK YOU to all who attended!
