Over the past couple of days, we noticed that Jacob was drooling quite a bit more and his cheeks were a bit rosy tonight. Victoria and I thought possibly that Jacob could be teething. Seeing we cannot remember when things happened with Connor, I decide to search the blog for “first tooth”. A couple of hits came back. Of course one of them was the first sighting of a tooth at around 7 months. The 2nd hit that came back was this one:
I read this post a little bit and it was very similar to what we are seeing with Jacob. Connor was almost 3.5 months at the time of this posting. Jacob is nearly 4 months old.
Here are some of the similarities:
Jacob goes to bed around 8:30pm and wakes up around 6:30am.
Jacob is drooling much like Connor was at the same time.
Jacob gets fed about 5 times a day much like Connor was at the time.
It sure is nice having the blog and being able to go back to see what we experienced with Connor.
I know I am jinxing ourselves, but Connor has not had an accident in nearly 4 weeks! He wears big boy underwear from the time he gets up until the time he goes to bed. We still have him wearing a diaper or a pull-up when he goes to bed. We will start to tackle that in the coming weeks.
We no longer have to remind him…he just gets up from whatever he is doing and heads right in there.
That’s our boy! (I remember the doctor telling us that boys are sometimes almost 4 when they are potty trained.)
Jacob is almost 4 months old now and he has been sleeping through the night (9pm until 6am) for about 3 or 4 weeks now. He had been sleeping in his car seat since his 2 month checkup but late last week we tried him in the crib with our his car seat. He has continued to sleep through the night and has not had any spit ups or problems stemming from his bout with acid reflux.
He turns 4 months in another 11 days…the time is flying by. Next we no it, we will be chasing him and Connor around the backyard!
Uncle Danny and Connor waiting for the train to come.
As we were boarding the train, a gentleman helping us board noticed that Connor and Uncle Danny were so entrenched in watching the train arrive that he went into a special place and got Connor a conductor’s hat. He said to Connor, “I bet you like trains.” Connor and Uncle Danny said, “Yes!”
What a cool hat…now he can wear that when he plays with Thomas the Train.
