When Connor was this age, I prided myself on the fact that I had the same skills as Mommy when it came to soothing Connor. With Jacob, I just haven’t had that same level of success. I am pretty good at it, but sometimes it just requires “Mommy’s touch/hold” for Jacob.

Case in point was tonight. While playing on the carpet tonight, Jacob fell backwards from a seated position and hit his head. I picked him up and tried to soothe him. When he spotted Mommy, he started crying more and reaching for her. Still screaming, I handed him over to Mommy. Within 2 seconds the crying was over.

Mommy powers are the best!

I think I should just send the two of them outside for a walk while Mommy and I rest on the couch…Connor has it all under control.

He is all over the house and even trying to pull up on things. He is a short clip of him crawling and trying to pull up on the stairs.

By the time I got the camera ready, he was tired.

I did manage to get this play and laughing session I had with him. He was having such a good time!
