It was Daddy’s birthday today and we celebrated all weekend. Friday night, we went to Grandma’s house, Saturday Daddy played golf with Uncle Danny and then went to dinner with Mommy, and Sunday we went over to Grandpa and Mimi’s house for Daddy’s birthday cookout. Uncle Chad, Aunt Catherine, and my two cousins Brenna and Gavin were there too!
Here are a few pictures of today’s activities.
Love,
Connor

A posting from Grandma…
When Daddy and Connor came over last evening, I had the wooden candy dish on the table in the living room with a few M&Ms. I showed him the dish, he took one, put it in his mouth and then put it back into the dish because he wasn’t sure what to do with it. Once Daddy bit one in half and gave it to Connor, he figured out it was a sweet treat and it was all over. He headed right back to the candy dish and had another. It was so cute. He would be busy playing and then the thought crossed his mind and he didn’t want anyone to block his way as he headed quickly back to the dish. Once, when he was playing, I said the word “candy” and he stopped, thought for a
moment and started to head to the candy dish. It was so funny!

Connor loves purses. (Something Daddy is trying to break him of.) I’ve explained to him that you don’t have to like them, you just have to make enough money to fill them (and pay for new ones with the name Coach on them).

Uncle Danny!
Connor, Mommy, and Daddy went up to Richmond so Mommy could attend a photography workshop. Daddy and Connor spent time with Uncle Danny and Aunt Kristen. Connor absolutely loved spending time with them and really enjoyed playing outside in Uncle Danny’s front yard.
(Connor told me on the ride home that Uncle Danny’s grass looks good, but not as good as Daddy’s. He also told me that Grandma wants to know why her grass never looked as good as Daddy’s or Uncle Danny’s when they lived at home.)
Here are some pictures:
