We haven’t picked a name yet and we have talked about waiting until the day he is born to decide.  I’ve joked we might hold out a couple extra days after the birth.  Mainly to torture the Grandparents.  😉

I’ve been calling the baby ‘CT’ for short — Victoria is not thrilled with that.  She calls him Connor and then I throw in Donald the III.

One thing for certain, James will be the middle name.

Nobody wants to name me.  The poll didn’t help, it was a tie.  Mommy and Daddy agreed last week that Tyler James Woodruff would be my name then Daddy changed his mind.  Now Mommy wants Connor James and Daddy is not sure.  (Just what I expected from Daddy.)

Heck, have you ever seen him shop for a new computer, furniture, or even my crib.  He goes to the store 3-5 times and over analyzes EVERYTHING.  So, I guess all I can do is hang out in Mommy’s tummy and listen to Daddy say goodbye in the morning.  “Goodbye, Connor.  Goodbye, Tyler.”  You’d think I had a roommate in here!  😉

Less than a week until we have our 3rd ultrasound which hopefully will reveal whether Baby Woodruff is a boy or a girl.  I’ve been doing some thinking on the boy’s name and have a couple of names that I like.  I haven’t shared them with anyone as of yet but did mention one of them to Victoria this evening on our walk.

Everyone is saying how it is going to be a boy, but I am not too sure.  It is funny how one person will say “she’s carrying high”, so it is a boy.  Then another will say, “she’s carrying low so it is a boy”.  How’s that possible?!?!?!  Maybe there’s two and she carries high one week and low the next.  Victoria’s parents are betting on a boy and my mom has now switched on me and says she believes it is a girl.  Victoria seems to have bought into the whole “boy idea”.  It will be interesting come next Monday.

Maybe we should check the odds in Las Vegas.  😉

We have less than two weeks until we return to the doctor for another ultrasound. We could possibly find out the sex of the baby on that visit.

I’ve been holding out on choosing a boy’s name but may have to decide soon. Victoria has “picked out” a boy’s name and is slowly trying to convince me to agree to it. Not yet, I’ll hold out a little while longer. She has told our immediate family and everyone agrees with her. I am not posting the name here because I don’t want to be bombarded with “oh that is a good name”, “that sounds great”, “I like that name”, etc… Then the next thing I know, I’ll see that name on the birth certificate without having any input.

Now I know if any men are reading this blog, they probably will just tell me I am along for the ride and to go with the flow. Nah…can’t do that. Our relationship has never been like that and I plan on providing some input on our child’s name.

That’s why I am leaning towards William Joseph Woodruff — “Billy Joe” for short!!!!
